The "Security" section in your account settings is where you can review/configure the security features on your account: password and two-factor authentication (2FA).
Changing your password:
You can change your password at any time to maintain a strong and secure account. Regularly updating your password helps protect your account from unauthorized access.
Navigate to the "Security" section
Click on "Change Password."
Enter your current password and then your new password.
Setting up two-factor authentication (2FA):
For an added layer of security, you can enable two-factor authentication (2FA). Enabling this feature will require an additional verification step, typically a unique code sent to your mobile device, to access your account. 2FA significantly enhances the protection of your account, even if your password is compromised.
Navigate to the "Security" section.
Click on "Two-Factor Authentication" or "Enable 2FA."
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
